Origami Ideas

No opportunities posted yet? Here are 5 creative origami ideas for personal use.

  1. Bookmarks. Origami bookmarks are very simple and easy. There are a variety of origami bookmark designs to select from and they may be customized as well. You can cut out and glue on eyes to make animals or monsters or you can follow instructions to make a heart shaped bookmark to use for reading!

  2. Envelopes. Have you ever thought of making your own envelope instead of buying one? Well, you can! Origami envelopes are easy and beginner recommended designs that don’t require traditional origami paper and saves you money. They are very personal as well for being handmade.

  3. Containers. Containers such as boxes or cups are really cute and depending on their size you can bring them anywhere you travel. They’re super fun and easy to make for anyone. They’re really convenient and make you organized and tidy.

  4. Tissue boxes. Tissue boxes don’t refer to the big boxes that come in packs at the grocery store—instead origami tissue boxes are travel-sized pockets that store tissue for when your going somewhere. You can store these in a purse, pencil case, desk, or anywhere you would need tissues.

  5. 3D animals. A creative and adorable way of decorating your home or room. Unlike 2D animals, 3D animals stand and look like actual decorations. They look very geometrical and minimalistic in my opinion, and serve as good gifts too!
